About the Program
Teens Educating and Confronting Homophobia (TEACH) is an award-winning program that has been at the forefront of anti-homophobia education in Toronto for over 20 years.
TEACH delivers free, high-quality peer education Workshops and activities in schools and community settings across the city. TEACH trains peer facilitators, ages 16-25, to lead anti-homophobia workshops that encourage participants to think critically about homophobia and cisheteronormativity in our communities. T.E.A.C.H. works to provide accurate information on the 2SLGBTQIA+ community while challenging myths, busting stigmas, and creator safer communities.
These workshops are for youth, educators, and guardians in community settings, middle schools, high schools, youth shelters, group homes, community centres, recreational settings, colleges, and universities.
