Spoonie Peer Support Program

SPSP is a space at Planned Parenthood Toronto to come together for youth who have experiences coping with chronic physical health concerns.

About the Program

  • Do you have a chronic physical health condition?
  • Does your health condition impact your day to day?
  • Do you suffer from chronic pain or other difficult symptoms daily?
  • Is it difficult for others in your life to understand the impacts your health concern has on you?
  • Do you identify as a Spoonie because of that condition?

You are not alone and there is a community of peers ready and willing to support you! Together we’ll chat, share resources, and practice coping strategies.

This group is specifically for youth ages 13-29 who have physical health concerns (whether diagnosed or not) that impact daily activities, as well as mental health.
