GivingTuesday is a day celebrated by charities and nonprofits around the world; for many, it's the biggest fundraising day of the year. This year, we've set an ambitious goal for ourselves and we're asking our community to join us. If you'd like to make your GivingTuesday donation early, we've officially opened our donation form and you can do so here.

Why Your Early Support Matters

Financially, your early contribution has a magnifying effect. It sets the pace for what follows, inspiring others to join in. It enables Planned Parenthood Toronto (PPT) to plan and allocate resources more effectively, ensuring that many of our programs remain accessible, inclusive, and impactful for all youth in the city.

The World is Changing - Let's Safeguard Our Youth

We're navigating a world that's increasingly daunting for all youth, but especially Indigenous, racialized, immigrant, queer, and trans youth. The rise of extreme ideologies, coupled with systemic oppression related to race, gender, and poverty, is creating a landscape where the very rights and safety of our youth are at stake. Their future is at stake. Now, more than ever, we need to stand unwavering in our commitment to protect and empower youth.

PPT: A Space for Hope, Safety and Support

At PPT, we don't just offer healthcare - we offer a safe haven. A place where teenagers and young adults can access not only sexual and primary healthcare but also the mental support and education they need, free of judgment. A place where youth can trust they will be supported whether they choose to parent or have an abortion. Our doors are open to everyone - new immigrants, students, and those without OHIP or health insurance. And during these trying times, our role in the community has never been more vital.
