Accessibility
At PPT we believe healthcare and information should be equally accessible to everyone.
Wheelchair accessibility
Unfortunately, due to the age of our building, PPT is not wheelchair accessible.
Let’s talk about accessibility
At PPT we believe healthcare and information should be equally accessible to everyone. We’re committed to meeting the needs of young people with disabilities and to meeting accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. PPT has taken a number of steps to improve access for people with disabilities, and are committed to continuing this effort. We’re working to prevent and remove all unnecessary barriers to accessibility for our clients, staff, volunteers, program participants, and visitors.
Web Accessibility
The PPT website has been designed and developed to meet the minimum accessibility standards outlined under WCAG 2.1 AA. This includes full support for on-site and on-page navigation by assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard-only browsing. The website exceeds minimum contrast ratios for all text and interactive elements, uses scale (not just colour) to indicate state changes, and includes clearly visible focus states and alternative text for all meaningful images.
Website text is fully scalable via browser zoom or assistive technology, and base font sizes exceed WCAG 2.1 minimum thresholds for legibility.
Do you require accessibility supports?
Please email us at clinic@ppt.on.ca and let us know what accommodations you may need for your appointment or ask us about the accessibility of the space.
Regrettably, PPT is not fully wheelchair accessible.
